Review of the 6th Blitz & Donner 2025

Our 6th Blitz & Donner was once again a great success!
150 guests from 65 different clubs and 5 countries joined us. With the three callers Carsten Nielsen, Martin Kromer, and Philipp Aff, there was plenty of dancing and sweating – maybe also thanks to the heroic weather on Saturday.

The food left almost nothing to be desired: one highlight after another, and we did our best to take good care of our guests. Only the vegetable soup on Sunday ran out too early – we promise to do better next time. Very popular, on the other hand, was the option to pay by card, which also made things easier for us.

Of course, the afterparty was a must: on Friday we sat together until 2 a.m., and on Sunday the dancing, celebrating, and cocktail sipping went on late into the night.

A special thank you goes to our young callers Andreas Wallerer, Tony Schamott, and Katrin Fehl, who added extra energy. Our booked callers also didn’t need much convincing to sing a few more songs for us.

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend!

Looking ahead to the 7th Blitz & Donner 2026

After one special comes the next: the hall is already reserved, the callers are booked, and the excitement is building. From September 18–20, 2026, we will dance with Robert Milestadt (SWE), Christian Sorge (DE), and Philipp Aff (DE).

The schedule will stay the same in terms of dance times – 2.5 hours each of A2, A1, and Plus, as well as over 14 hours of Mainstream – but with a few adjustments. We’re curious to see how you like it.

New this year: we want to give new callers the chance to perform at a special. For Saturday from 6–7 p.m. we invited Oliver Schwärmer and Katrin Fehl, and we’re very excited about this new program point!

Anyone who registers by August 16, 2026 saves €5 – that’s basically one cocktail.

• Full weekend: €25 if registered by 16.08.2026, afterwards €30

• Saturday only: €20 if registered by 16.08.2026, afterwards €25
